Praying With Scripture

by Gerry Lynch last modified 18 May, 2017 06:39 PM

Resources to help you deepen your discipleship by making Scripture an integral part of your prayer life

Bible Coffee.jpgThese resources have been collated by Diocesan Discipleship Co-ordinator, Debbie Orriss, to follow up on the Praying Together Lent 2017 initiative where many people found it helpful to have a portion of the Bible to think about, pray through, and respond to.

These Bible reading resources come from a number of publishers, written to help children, young people and adults meet with God and grow in faith. Each day’s content includes a small section of the Bible, some reflection, and a prayer or thought to apply to daily life.

Debbie will have a selection of these resources with her as she lead sessions around the diocese.

In addition there is a display in Church House so do come and have a browse when you’re next in Salisbury, or have a look at the web links below. These resources can be ordered and posted out by Sarum College Bookshop – email: ; tel 01722 326899; website /www.sarumcollegebookshop.co.uk.
