Initial Ministerial Education (IME)

Information and resources for curates, LLMs, Training Ministers and tutors.

Initial Ministerial Education (IME) falls into two parts.  Part 1 covers time spent at college or on a course.

Part 2 of IME normally covers the first four years of public ministry (three years after completion of degree for LLMs).  All those in training are working towards achieving the Learning Outcomes developed by the House of Bishops.

The program is resourced by Sue Chandler (IME Support Officer) and Andrea Dredge (Administrator).

At the commencement of Part 2 of IME, all those involved will be provided with a Handbook which will be their primary source of reference.  The handbook is available for download under resources (see column to the left).  If you would like a soft copy of an individual section of the IME Handbook, please contact Sue Chandler (sue.chandler@salisbury.anglican.org).
