Choral Weekend Workshops
in Easterton and Lavington
Saturday 31 January, 10am-4pm at Easterton Village Hall, SN10 4PS
Sunday 1 February, 10am-4.30pm at Lavington Community Hall, SN10 4DG
We will be using the Novello 1999 Brahms German Requiem edition, and will be singing in English. Scores available, or bring your own. Conductor: Michael Cobb, Musical Director of Orchestra Vitae and postgraduate student of conducting at the Royal Welsh School of Music and Drama. Weekend workshop £20; audience £5 for 6pm performance of Brahms' Requiem.

Young organists

Saturday morning workshops are now available at:

  • St. John's Church, Devizes
  • Sherborne Abbey
  • St. Mary's Church, Dorchester
  • The Priory Church, Edington

These churches are making their buildings available for workshops on Saturday mornings during school terms to encourage young musicians to play the organ. Visit the website for dates and booking instructions. Look out for pipes 'n' pizza days at these venues too!
