Young Musicians and Organists
On Saturday 8th February, you can visit Salisbury Cathedral and play the organ! Both David Halls and John Challenger will be demonstrating this magnificent instrument and providing some informal tuition. Lift up your voice – a day course for rural churches with no musical leadership
Saturday 1 March 2014, 10am – 4pm
Ashill Village Hall, Cullompton, Devon EX15 3NL
This course is intended for lay and ordained leaders, and offers simple, achievable music for use where there is no trained musical leadership, and insights for celebrating the church’s seasons creatively. These churches are making their buildings available for workshops on Saturday mornings during school terms to encourage young musicians to play the organ. Visit the website for dates and booking instructions. Look out for pipes 'n' pizza days at these venues too!
