Winter Workshop: The Glories of French Organ Music from 1600 to the present led by Philip Scriven with Tim Hone, David Bruce-Payne, Richard Godfrey and Robert Fielding in Lyme Regis parish church. Play the new Skrabl organ, and also a Hauptwerk reproduction of the large Cavaillé Coll in Caen. £160, not including accommodation. Free day-courses for Volunteer Organists

Salisbury Methodist Church and Sarum St Martin's Church, Salisbury.

Robert Fielding will lead another day for pianists who have volunteered to play the organ in their churches or who may be considering this. Learn to deal confidently with stop controls, pedals, leading hymns, accompanying choirs and playing voluntaries.

Red asteriskDiocesan Music in Worship Day, 10th November 2012 

This bi-annual day of workshops, presentations and worship is going to take place in the superb setting of the Wiltshire Music Centre in Bradford on Avon on Saturday 10th November.

The key-note speaker will be ANDREW MARIES who will also be leading workshops.

Cost for the day, including lunch is £15 with concessions.

The day begins at 9.30am and ends at 4.00pm with tea and cake!

Use of Psalmody in worship
How to use instruments in worship
Composing for worship
Finding your musical niche
