The Diamond Jubilee marks 60 years of the Queen’s reign. Elizabeth II came to the throne on Wednesday 6 February 1952 and was crowned on Tuesday 2 June 1953.

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for ministry and mission in the UK. It's also about inspiring change and leaving a legacy through well-organised events, hospitality and service.
After the 2010 Winter Olympics, Church ministers from Vancouver said: "We missed it. We didn't think it would be this big."
