“Seeking world-wide Christian unity” (Oxford Dictionary)
Archbishop’s Ecumenical Christmas Letter, Tuesday 14 December 2010
The Archbishop of Canterbury urges Christian leaders to affirm their faith in God's action and presence, and to offer support and advocacy to fellow Christians, as well as people from other faiths. http://www.archbishopofcanterbury.org/3093
In response to Christ’s call to be one in Him, the Diocese of Salisbury is committed to its ecumenical relationship with other Christian churches across Wiltshire and Dorset. The Diocese relates to these through the two county bodies Wiltshire Churches Together and Churches Together in Dorset.
Support and encouragement for both formal and informal Churches Together Groups comes through the Denominational Ecumenical Officers.
