The Fund is intended specifically to encourage and resource creative thinking and risk-taking about new work and projects that connect the local church to the wider community but cannot be funded from local sources.

Updated Listing2017-2018 Guidelines have been added- see grey 'Resources' box on the left

The emphasis is on supporting projects in new areas of work and providing some of the resources needed to try different types of mission in our parishes. It is not intended to be used for building projects, administrative or parish youth worker posts.

Since 2006, the Fund has supported over 90 local mission initiatives with recent awards ranging from £500 to £24,000.

New projects included the Poole Missional Communities ‘Space for Life’ project, the Winterbourne Whitechurch Festival of the Sea and the Hazelbury Bryan and Hillside Parishes Sunday Family Breakfast project.

If you are planning a new mission venture or fresh expression of church in your community, contact the Secretary on 01722 411922 or email stephen.dawson@salisbury.anglican.org to find out if the Fund can help you.

The Guidelines and Application Form can be downloaded from the grey 'Resources' box on the left. Information on other sources of mission funding can be found on the Stewardship Fundraising pages.
