Benefice or parish: Preston with Sutton Poytnz and Osmington with Poxwell
Proposals: Creation of the new parish of Littlemoor
Date Circulated: 9th November 2011
Closing Date: 19th December 2011
Notes: The Church Commissioners are now preparing a draft document for public consultation before the end of April 2012.
Benefice or parish: Wylye and Till Valley
Proposals: Shrewton Team Vicarage to become parsonage house of the benefice.

Notes: The Church Commissioners have issued a draft scheme which has now been circulated. Public consultation closed on 2nd April 2012.
Benefice or parish: Melbury Team
Proposals: Church of St Basil Toller Fratrum to be closed for regular public worship

Notes: The Church Commissioners issued a draft scheme for public consultation which closed on 27th February 2012. As there were objections the matter has now been referred back to them for consideration.
Proposals which have been issued for consultation but have been temporarily halted whilst time is given for further consideration:
Benefice or parish: Bemerton
Proposals: Closure of part of St John the Evangelist church for regular public worship
Date circulated: 27th October 2009
Closing date: 14th December 2009
Notes: The Diocesan Mission and Pastoral Committee has recommended that the Church Commissioners should issue a draft Scheme but time has been given for the negotiations concerning possible future use of the building to take place before this happens.
In recent months the following Schemes or Orders have been made and come into effect as indicated:
Benefice or parish: Watercombe
Proposals: Appropriation of part of the churchyard of St Martin Broadmayne for transfer into the ownership of Broadmayne PCC to allow for the construction of an extension to St Martin’s Community Hall
A Postoral Scheme was made by the Church Commissioners on 12th April 2012 and will come into effect on 1st May 2012.
Benefice or parish: Wootton Bassett
Section 14 Order: In accordance with Gift of title bestowed by the Queen renaming the town Royal Wootton Bassett, the parish and benefice name have been changed to Royal Wootton Bassett. Came into effect: 1st January 2012
Benefice or parish: Wimborne Group Ministry
Proposals: Witchampton, Stanbridge, Long Crichel with Moor Crichel to join the Wimborne Group Ministry. Colehill to leave the Wimborne group. Amendment of parish boundaries.
Came into effect: 1st October 2011
Benefice or parish: Moreton and Woodsford with Tincleton
Section 14 Order: Name change benefice of Moreton, Woodsford and Crossways with Tincleton and name change Woodsford and Crossways parish. Came into effect: 1st October 2011
