PSA- School Self Evaluation

by Michael Ford last modified 25 May, 2017 02:33 PM
"Our diocesan adviser has had such a positive impact on our team this term due to supporting us in our self-evaluation. The adviser has very quickly built positive relationships and has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience in schools. Our diocesan adviser perfectly balances being curious, supportive and affirming with asking pertinent questions and challenging our practice. It has been a very positive experience working with the adviser this term. Thank you!" - Head Teacher

School Self Evaluation- Header

Explanation of this aspect of our work

Our advisers work with schools to prepare their self-evaluation documentation (SEF) for both SIAMS and OFSTED.

In order to do this effectively many schools first ask our advisers to audit aspects of the school’s work, in full partnership with the head teacher. This provides an external review and quality assures the school’s judgements.

This dovetails perfectly with our Challenge and Support Partner work, also available through the PSA. Click here for details.

New Heads often welcome and benefit from a self-evaluation review as it provides a clear benchmark for their leadership of the school.
