"Slow down and enjoy life. It's not only the scenery you miss by going too fast, you also miss the sense of where you are going and why."- Anon

Spiritual Gardens Header

A spiritual or reflection garden offers a spiritual dimension to any school.  Peace, serenity, and even a certain degree of mental healing may be derived from a garden.  One can take time to enjoy the beauty of the flowers and plants, renewing the senses and reconnecting the spirit to the natural world.  It can be a place for both prayer and meditation.  It can be a place of relaxation, for personal growth.  It can provide sense of peace and security in which to ponder and dream.

Involving your school community in designing and planting a spiritual garden is an exciting project and means creating a place that will be special to you as a school.  Click onto the leaflet button for further ideas to get you started.  If you would like further information or ideas, then do please get in touch with us.
