Ramsbury Office

The Office is the centre for the Ramsbury team, providing administrative support and communications links between the team and parishes.

Staffed by friendly faces, you are welcome to contact the office with any problems or queries.

If you are a churchwarden, we are able to answer many questions and if not, will hopefully be able to point you in the direction of someone who can. The area office deals with Team diaries, local vacancies, initial queries about the need for a faculty or extended minor works, training opportunities within the area and much more!

The Bishop of Ramsbury:
There is currently a vacancy in the Suffragan See of Ramsbury.
Bishop Stephen Conway, who held the post from 2006, became Bishop of Ely on 6 Dec 2010. The process to  assess whether he is replaced may begin during the vacancy in the See of Salisbury, but any decision about proceeding to an appointment will be the new Bishop of Salisbury’s.

  • The Latvia Link Working Group seeks to create opportunities to deepen and develop the relationship of friendship, support and prayer that exists between the Salisbury Diocese and the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Latvia.
  • We attempt to do this by arranging regular exchange visits, encouraging parish, cathedral and Episcopal links, and by raising awareness throughout the diocese of the issues facing the Latvian church.
  • Visit the Latvia page here.
