Funding

Increasingly, many churches are unable to afford the costs of maintaining a pipe organ, funding realistic salaries for musicians or purchasing sheet music, choir robes etc. A parish's financial responsibility to the diocese and literally keeping a roof over its head leaves little left for music budgets.
