Francis and the Sultan

This conference will explore the meeting in 1219 during the Fifth Crusade of St Francis of Assisi and Sultan Malik al-Kamil, as inspiration for Christian-Muslim dialogue today. The event is offered in partnership with the Third Order SSF.

Andrew Todd is Sarum College’s Centre Coordinator and Programme Leader for the MA in Christian Spirituality. He is an expert in contemporary religion and spirituality, an Anglican priest and Franciscan Tertiary.

The costs of the course and meals during the day including supper if there is an evening session are covered by the CMD budget but if you wish to be residential you will need to cover the costs of bed and breakfast and any other evening meals yourself.
