Relationships, Sex and Health Education for Church of England Schools - SCHOOLS VERSION - Virtual - 20/01/2021
How can church schools provide pupils with RSHE lessons that will help them live in goodness and mercy all the days of their lives?
How might Church Schools live out the Church of England’s Vision for Education whilst implementing the DfE’s expectations for Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE)?
Come and hear how to use newly commissioned materials and practical guidance to support your school’s provision for Relationships, Sex and Health Education. This session will also support you in planning for your school’s engagement with stakeholders, including governors and parents.
Katy Staples, adviser for Bristol Diocese, will lead this course together with Nicola Coupe. Katy has written Valuing All God’s Children and has created the website Goodness and Mercy which includes materials to support C of E Schools implementing RSHE expectations in their contexts.
This session is open to two people from each school to attend together. (Suitable for School leaders, PSHE leaders, foundation governors, link governor for RSHE/PSHE, clergy.) It will be run virtually. We encourage you to attend.
Further details, together with Zoom invitation, will be provided after the deadline date.
