Growing Faith is part of a national movement, endorsed by the Church of England and the House of Bishops, that puts children, young people and families at the heart of the mission and ministry of the Church, making the most of the opportunities for mission that lie at the interface between church, school and community.
Whilst it was set up as a national initiative with national funding being made available for projects and research, ultimately, Growing Faith has drawn the Church’s attention back to how the mission could/should look as part of everyday ministry. As we seek to ‘Grow Younger’ in Salisbury and as part of the national vision and strategy, creating links between church, home and school is vital to build relationships and have opportunities to share and build faith that have a deep and lasting impact.
