'16 Days of Activism' Video Campaign

by Michael Ford last modified 24 Jul, 2021 02:08 AM

The Anglican Communion Office is inviting young Anglicans aged 30 or under to submit entries for a social media video campaign against gender-based violence.

The project - 'Exposure: Focusing the lens on gender-based violence' - will run to 31st October, ahead of this year’s 16 Days Of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, which runs 25th November to 10th December.

The '16 Days' campaign was launched by the Center for Women’s Global Leadership in 1991, and decades later it is the most widely-recognised and longest-running campaign for women’s rights in the world.

A selection of videos submitted to the project will be chosen for publication on the Anglican Communion’s social media channels during the 16 Days of Activism. Videos should be no more than two minutes long.
