Cecily Moorsom (11), a year 6 pupil at Salisbury Cathedral School, has been announced a runner up in the first David Willcocks Composition Competition.

Her setting of 'Prepare our hearts to sing you praise' was one of eighteen entries judged by Sir David’s son Jonathan, himself a popular composer. It will receive its first performance by Salisbury Cathedral Choir during Evensong at 5.30pm on Monday 8 July.
