The Bishop of Salisbury, Nicholas Holtam, has presented over 40 certificates to the first cohort of students to complete the new Aldhelm Certificate course.

The Wiltshire certificates were presented at a celebratory service in Wilton on Sunday 20 October. The Bishop of Sherborne, Dr Graham Kings, will present the Dorset certificates in a service at Dorchester on 2nd November.

Across the diocese, 175 people took part in the course and 77 wrote assignments to receive the certificate.

The Aldhelm Certificate explores faith in God’s world and aims to promote Christian confidence in discussing topical faith issues with others.
