Salisbury Cathedral is inviting children and their families for a new one-off half-term fun session ‘Fabulous Food for Feasting’ on Wednesday 30 October from 10 am until 12 noon.

Drop in to the Cathedral and use the special trail leaflet to find where examples of food are hidden in the building – some of it in the building’s architecture and windows and some from the Harvest Festival decorations. After the Fab Foodie Hunt, children will be able to make their favourite food items modelled in salt dough.

Sally Stewart-Davis, the Cathedral’s Teaching officer said, ‘October half-term is a great month to visit the Cathedral and we look forward to welcoming families in the search for food, learning a little about the Cathedral, and having fun making a dish of delectable delights to take home!’

The session is suitable for children 5-12 years (must be accompanied by adult) and costs £3.00 per child (adults free!) with all materials provided. No booking is required.
