Open invitation to Bishop's Consecration

by Jonathan Ball last modified 25 Aug, 2011 01:36 PM

Nick Holtam will be ordained Bishop at 11am on Friday 22 July at St Paul's Cathedral.

Open invitation to Bishop's Consecration

The Revd Nicholas Holtam, Bishop-elect

ALL are welcome to attend this service. You may turn up without tickets on the day and gain entry. You will need to be seated by 10.40am.

However, if you are clergy or a Licensed Lay Minister and wish to join the robed procession of supporting ministers, please let the Bishop’s Secretary Diana Brisbane know by Monday 4 July so that St Paul’s can be informed of the number attending. Dress for clergy is cassock, surplice and white stole, and for LLMs is cassock, surplice and scarf. You should enter via the North West Crypt Door and be ready for a briefing at 10.40am.

Any queries should be made to Diana via or 01722 334031.

The date for Bishop Nicholas' enthronement in Salisbury Cathedral will be set as soon as possible: we are dependant on Buckingham Palace confirming an appointment to pay homage to HM The Queen, since he may only minister publicly after this has taken place.
