HRH the Countess of Wessex visited the newly built Sandford St Martin's CE Primary School, Wareham, Dorset, on 19 September 2015.

The Countess unveils a commemorative plaque in the school hall

Arriving by helicopter, the Countess was welcomed by the Lord-Lieutenant of Dorset, Angus Campbell, Headteacher Jeremy Payne, staff, the governing body and pupils.

After a reception with visitors, including the Archdeacon of Dorset, Antony MacRow-Wood, the Countess unveiled a commemorative plaque in the school hall before heading off to her next appointment.
