The school's established strengths include "The quality of opportunities for children to reflect on issues of faith and belief" and "The integrity with which the leadership and management, including governors, promote a Christian ethos that has purpose and meaning to children and the whole school community."

The inspector noted that "Each class base has a reflection area which children talk about with enthusiasm saying that they ‘give us the opportunity to be still and think about important things’."

Other notes concluded that "Teaching of RE is of a very high quality and is at least consistently good with many example of outstanding teaching. Teachers have a very secure knowledge of the subject and use questioning skilfully to challenge the children’s thinking. An outstanding aspect of RE is the extent to which it supports the school’s Christian ethos."

Encouraged, the school have posted the following goals on the front page of their website:

  1. To improve and enhance our provision for Teaching and Learning in Numeracy.
  2. To find new and exciting oportunities for writing across the whole curriculum.
  3. To build on the results of our excellent Church School inspection last Summer term.
  4. To prepare for the introduction of the New Curriculum across all subject areas in September 2014.
