Wiltshire Primary School Wins TWO National Awards

by Michael Ford last modified 27 May, 2016 04:43 PM

Sutton Veny CE VC Primary School has received two National Awards for standards in Children’s Attainment and Progress.

Headteacher Rachael Brotherton said, "We were delighted to hear the news that the school had won two national awards. This is testimony to the hard work of the children, staff, governors and parents. We are all so proud of our thriving village school and aim to continue our success."

From the school Newsletter: “This means that Sutton Veny has enabled children’s attainment in Reading, Writing and Maths to be in the top 10% of all schools nationally, and has enabled children to make progress which is significantly higher than the national average. We have received two certificates to display and will shortly receive an Award logo.

“Congratulations to everyone in our school community for their support and most of all to the children for their continued hard work! What a fantastic achievement and good reason for everyone to celebrate!”
