PSA- Support Through PSA Credits

Strand 5- Discounted Bespoke School Support, CPD Programme and Academy Conversion through credit purchase

Through this strand of the PSA, schools are accessing a range of provision and tailored work which is bespoke for their needs and context. The linked diocesan School Improvement Adviser plans a programme of work with the school, designed to meet their needs as a deeply Christian and effective school.

The support may include:

  • CPD Programme
  • Discounted Academy conversion fee
  • Admission appeals service

Distinctive and Effective RE Distinctive and Effective Worship Parish-School Partnership SMSC- Social, Moral, Spiritual, Cultural Support for Academy Conversion Admissions Appeals School Self Evaluation Email, Skype and Telephone Support Audit of Your School as a Church School- Mid-cycle SIAMS Review Support for Schools Causing Concern Reviewing Values and Vision CASP- Challenge And Support Partner Distinctive and Effective Foundation Governance CPD Programme 

All support purchased through credits will be for 3 or 6 hours enabling, where appropriate, time for the adviser to plan or follow up work. PSA credits are £60 +VAT each.

The rate is:

1 day (up to 6 hours) 9 credits £540 + VAT £810 + VAT
Central CPD 1/2 day course 1 credit £60 + VAT £90 + VAT
1 day course  2 credits £120 + VAT £180 + VAT

The DBE is also privileged to work with a number of schools as their Challenge and Support Partner (CASP). This offer is purchased through PSA credits.
