Cycle of Prayer 6-12 July 2026

Reading this week's prayers is Keli Bolton. Keli is the Head of Growing Younger, responsible for supporting mission and ministry with the younger and missing generations, offering training, resources, bespoke support and networking, whether clergy, paid worker/minister or volunteer. Keli’s role is funded by National Church as part of the Diocesan Improvement Programme (DIP).

Monday 6 July: Stonehenge Deanery

O Lord,

We pray today for your abundant blessing on the deanery of Stonehenge, that they may be guided by your word. We raise to you the Rural Dean, Jonathan Plows, Assistant Rural Dean, Mike Perry and Lay Chair, Sarah Gooch.

Tuesday 7 July: Amesbury, Stonehenge Deanery

Loving God, 

We pray for the communities of Amesbury, asking for your blessing upon them, and particularly on the Revd Kelvin Inglis.

We pray for all who work, play and pray there, that they may know your peace and love with them, today and always.

We raise to you the staff and students of Amesbury Primary School.

Wednesday 8 July: Woodford Valley with Archers Gate, Stonehenge Deanery

Eternal God, 

We pray for the communities of Woodford Valley with Archers Gate, for all who work, play and pray there. We pray for the Revd Mike Perry and for all lay ministers and leaders who serve you in this place.

We pray for the students, teachers and families of Woodford Valley Primary Academy.

In our prayers for our link diocese we pray for the Most Revd Ogeno Opoka, Archbishop of Torit in South Sudan.

God of all blessings, 

We hold before you the communities of Wylye and Till Valley. We pray for the clergy, Jonathan Plows and Roger Leake, that all who live there may be guided by your word and know your peace upon them.

We pray for your abundant blessing on the community of Avon River Team, that you will guide and bless all who worship and live there, including clergy, Philip Bromiley and Joe Stone.

Living Lord, 

We pray for the community of Salisbury Plain that your Holy Spirit will move in this place, especially in this time of vacancy.

We pray for the staff, students, parents and care givers of Tilshead St Thomas a Becket and Shrewton Primary School.
