The Diocesan Secretary and her team assist with strategy, policy, oversee finances, and ensure effective management, administration, resourcing and support for the whole diocese.

Your Diocesan Secretary is:

Lucinda assists Bishop’s Council in the creation and implementation of policy, oversees financial administration of the diocese, and ensures the efficient and effective management of the diocese as its chief executive. She is Secretary to Diocesan Synod and Bishop's Council, as well as being Company Secretary and Treasurer of the Diocesan Board of Finance.

Based at Church House, Salisbury SP1 2QB. Directions 

The team includes:

Stephen deputises for the Diocesan Secretary and leads the day to day running of the Diocesan Office. He has direct responsibility for the planning and delivery of work assigned to the Resources Team, overseeing the Diocesan Advisory Committee (DAC)IT and Office ServicesMission and Stewardshipthe Pastoral Team; Personnel; SafeguardingSocial Justice; and Synodical Governance. He is Secretary to the Aldhelm Mission Fund and Mission Council.

Miriam leads work on our database, Synodical Governancemission and finance statistics, personnel, and advice to parishes, especially regarding APCMs and church representation rules.

Fiona maintains effective administration and secretarial support to the department, managing the diary, organising venues for meetings, assisting with Diocesan Synod and ordering stationery for Church House as required.

Alex welcomes visitors to Church House in the first half of the week and provides administrative support to the Diocesan Secretary's Office.
