Jane leads our Learning for Discipleship and Ministry Team. She oversees lay learning, vocations, discernment, and formation for all authorised ministries. She has particular responsibility for Continuing Ministerial Development (CMD).

Spiritual Direction

Jean and Helier co-ordinate the training and resourcing of spiritual directors across our diocese, advising those seeking spiritual direction, and helping ministers sustain their spiritual life. Jean's bio is here; Helier's is here.

Discipleship

Debbie helps individuals and local Christian communities deepen their Christian discipleship. She co-ordinates the initial training for Lay Worship Leaders (LWLs), Lay Pastoral Assistants (LPAs) and Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs).

Jennifer works alongside Debbie Orriss to resource the training and formation of Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) during their training at Sarum College. She is also Team Vicar in the Vale of Pewsey Team.

Jane and Adrian provide administration for Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs), Lay Worship Leaders (LWLs) and Lay Pastoral Assistants (LPAs) in training, as well as working with Debbie Orriss to develop resources to help us deepen our discipleship. Adrian also provides IT support for the LDMT team and the online booking system.

Vocations

Benny is our first port of call for those exploring a call to authorised ministry. He co-ordinates the work of our Vocations Team and has a particular responsibility for young vocations.

Heather works alongside Benny Hazlehurst in the resourcing of young vocations, and oversees the work of our Young Vocations Champions.

Andrea provides administration for vocations and the discernment process; for those training for ordained ministry (IME), and for all during their curacy. She also deals with matters related to Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) in service.

Discernment, Initial Ministerial Education (IME) and Ordination

Nigel is directly responsible for the selection process for ordained ministers and the formation of ordained ministers in IME years 1-7, liaising with training ministers and curates across the diocese.

Works alongside our DDO.

Sue works alongside our DDO in resourcing the formation of ordained ministers during their curacies. Sue is secretary to our Wellbeing Group, with a particular responsibility for Reflective Practice Groups.

Andrea provides administration for the discernment process; those training for ordained ministry (IME), and for all during their curacy. She also deals with matters related to Licensed Lay Ministers (LLMs) in service.

Contininuing Ministerial Development (CMD)

Sue works alongside Jane Charman in resourcing the support of authorised ministers, particularly those new in post. Sue is secretary to our Wellbeing Group, with a particular responsibility for Reflective Practice Groups.

Cathryn heads the administration of our CMD programme and matters relating to LPAs and LWLs. She is Secretary to our Lay Ministry Support Group and Retirement Support Group.

Ministry for Mission (M4M)

Alan chairs the Mission Council and oversees...

Heather works alongside Alan to promote and support the expansion of Fresh Expressions in our diocese. She resources our Missional HUBS, which currently include Messy Church, Cafe Church, Pioneer Ministers, New Housing, and Rural Ministry.
