Six communities seeking a creative House for Duty Priest who would relish working alongside a dedicated and supportive team in a diverse Benefice which includes MOD Lyneham housing the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME). This post will be based in Lyneham.

The Diocese of Salisbury

We seek someone who will:
• Be a person of prayer and a thoughtful Bible teacher able to interpret scripture afresh for seekers and those on the margins;
• Develop and enable the discipleship of all;
• Be prepared to develop ideas and relationships to build God’s Kingdom within our expanding and diverse community;
• Relish the opportunities for partnership with the chaplaincy and the MOD.

We offer:
• A good understanding of the constraints of a HfD post and a commitment to enabling your life/work balance to flourish.
• Support from a wide team of people with lay ministries in pastoral care, leading worship, hospitality and administration.
• The benefits of both a large village with shops, pubs, a post office and easy access to the M4 and the beauty of rural North Wiltshire.
