Organist - Pimperne, Stourpaine and Durweston with Bryanston

The rural Benefice of Pimperne, Stourpaine and Durweston with Bryanston is looking for a competent organist to play and lead the congregations at Sunday services, festivals, weddings and funerals at all three parish churches in the Benefice.

The successful candidate will be prepared to work in partnership with the Priest in Charge over the choice of music and hymns. They will be familiar with church music in general and understand the liturgy.

Each Church has an organ and piano and all are currently in good repair and will be available for teaching when the need arises.

The successful candidate will be self employed and remuneration rates are to be agreed with the Priest in Charge in line with RSCM recommended rural rates.

The post will be available from 5 January 2020, subject to DBS checks, with interviews taking place in mid to end of November 2019.
