We've been live streaming Morning Prayer at 9am every weekday morning via Teams and live streaming a Sunday service via Teams at 9.30am each Sunday, conducted from our studies. It's been wonderful to know that people are joining us for these services and we are starting to think about how we might use this technology after the present period of social isolating. We've also set up a Facebook page as well as our benefice website. We have a network of people forwarding emails to people in our communities as well. For those without Internet access people are printing off worship materials and information and delivering these to people. Each of our communities has set up a way of looking after the members of the community. These vary depending on the size of the village.

*here is a sample, from the Rector's daily update 5:

"Good evening I have been told to keep this light and upbeat. Today we held our first Zoom staff meeting it was hilarious with the Curate leaving us half way through to answer her phone. Rev Jo muted us all because we were talking too much it was hilarious. I took our first grave side funeral I pray there will be very few over the coming months. I have sent out the latest update asking Church Wardens to close our church doors for the he foreseeable future and asking them to let me know if any of our parishioners are isolated, vulnerable or sick and to keep an eye on the buildings as there will always be people ready to break in and steel led roofs. Watch out tomorrow morning for our wake up thought from Rev Jo and a few words of hope at lunch time from Rev Fiona and I will be back this time as usual."
