24 July 

Gracious God, 

Thank you, Father for Swanage and Studland, within the Purbeck Deanery. We pray for our clergy: Ian Bird.  We please pray for Rev'd Jo Levasier who has joined as Team Vicar and Deanery Schools Missioner we pray that she will settle well into Swanage/ 

We also pray for the rest of the core clergy team, Rev'd Ian Bird, Rev'd Tony Higgins and Rev'd Dave Richards, that we will work effectively and well together. We give thanks for the local retired clergy and their ministry. 

We raise to you the staff and students at Swanage St Mark's CE VA Primary School, may the summer break bring them refreshment.

Our Lord and Our God, 

We pray for James the Apostle Wareham, within the Purbeck Deanery. We pray for our clergy team Simon Everett, Stuart Cocksedge, Hilary Bond, Michael Young, and the Parish Administrator Debs Barclay. 

We raise to you our Team Vicar Stuart as he gets ready to move to a new parish, giving thanks for all he has done in serving our community. We pray for the parish of Wareham and its remaining clergy that they may be equipped, enable and encouraged in their ministry.  May many in the pews see this period of vacancy as an opportunity to exercise their spiritual gifts. Thank you and we pray for charged with the responsibility of finding the next Team Vicar.

Lord God, 

We give you thanks and praised for St Aldhelm and for the Purbeck Deanery Clergy: Ian Jackson, Nick Webb, we also give thanks for Corfe Castle CE VC Primary Academy, Langton Matravers and St George's CE VA Primary School. 

Lord God, we pray for the Episcopal Church of South Sudan and Sudan: Praying especially for the Rt Revd Peter Marial Agok, Bishop of Malek Rup in South Sudan.

Jesus, 

We pray in your name for West Purbeck, within the Purbeck Deanery for the clergy: Richard Bartlett, Jenny Alidina, Sandra Williams, David Chillman, we pray also for all who serve as LLMs, LWLs, and LPAs. 

We praise God for the beauty of this benefice and the many visitors welcomed at this time of year. We pray for the visit of Bishop Stephen this coming Sunday and the service in ‘God’s Pocket’, Chaldon Herring, followed by tractor rides along the stunning coastline. 

Thank you, Jesus, for Lulworth & Winfrith CE VC Primary School, bless and protect all members of our school community over the summer holidays.

God above, 

We pray your blessing upon Milton and Blandford Deanery, for the Rural Dean: David Miell, Assistant Rural Dean: Carolyn Couzens and the Lay Chair: Lizzie Patterson. 

We pray for the ongoing discernment and engagement around the pastoral reorganisation proposals that will touch several benefices and we look forward to new clergy appointments. 

We give thanks for the 7 recently commissioned Lay Worship Leaders and for the continuing partnership with Bishop Emmanuel and the Diocese of Rokon, South Sudan.

Blandford Forum and Langton Long, within the Milton and Blandford Deanery for it’s Clergy: Chris Beaumont and Will Burditt, our LLM: Debby Griffiths. LLM PtO: Osbert Tun Pe. 

We raise the new 'Supper Church' starting this summer at All Saints, Langton Long. We pray for new people to join and for God's blessings.

Creator God, 

On today, the Eighth Sunday after Trinity, we pray for the 

Chase Benefice within the Milton and Blandford Deanery for our clergy: David Miell, Henriet Miell and our LLMs: Pat Harris, Carol Neilson. 

We rejoice especially at this time of year that our landscape is a place of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and we pray for all who manage and farm this heritage landscape. 

Please pray for the Chase parishes as we consider how we should enter into creative new partnerships with neighbouring parishes. 

Thank you in today’s Anglican Cycle of Prayer for Iglesia Anglicana de la Region Central de America.
