Nigel Salisbury has recently stepped down from his role as Chair of the Diocesan Board of Finance. He has expressed his gratitude for the generous gift he received upon leaving.
We have heard from yet another member of the diocese who has taken their £10 talent from Bishop Stephen, and seen it grow and have impact on their community.
Sherborne Deanery Synod met recently to discuss matters such as giving, discipleship, and the needs of the local community. Yvonne Libbey, Deanery Synod member, has shared about the evening.
The impact of the £10,000 that Bishop Stephen gave away in June continues to grow.
For the first time in 14 years, on 26 July the Lambeth Conference will gather in Canterbury. Following this, Salisbury Diocese will welcome over 40 bishops and their spouses from the Episcopal Church of Sudan and South Sudan.
From 4 - 8 July 2022, we saw the most welcome return to ‘in-person’ primary and first school leavers’ events after a gap of two years!
The Ordination of Deacons and Priests will be taking place at Salisbury Cathedral this coming weekend.
Bishop Stephen gave away £10,000 during his welcome service on Sunday.
