Dementia Action Week is an awareness campaign led by Alzheimer’s Society, bringing people and organisations together to act on dementia. This Dementia Action Week, 18 - 24 May 2026, we are providing resources and prayers for use in your churches throughout the year.
Prayer

Loving God, we lift to you all who are living with dementia.
Bring them peace: calm their fears,
ease confusion, and hold them close
with your love that never fades.
Help them to feel safe, valued, and deeply loved and remind them they are always known and cherished by you.
Strengthen those who care for them, and help us to be a church of welcome and safety
for all who live with dementia and all who care for them.
