Partnerships

Our diocese is strengthened by its many local, national and international partnerships. We have many friends in our diocese, both near and far.

Our closest international relationships are with the Diocese of Sudan and South Sudan, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Latvia, and with the Diocese of Évreux in France.

Sarum College

In relation to the Diocese of Salisbury, Sarum College plays a significant role in the initial training of both Licensed Lay Ministry (LLM) and those training for ordained ministry.

Diocese of Salisbury Multi-Academy Trust (DSAT)

DSAT is the Diocesan Multi-Academy Trust, a community of 22 schools across the diocese, working together to nurture and grow thriving learning communities, and providing everyone with the opportunity more than they thought possible.

Mother’s Union

The Mother’s Union is a global movement, made up of 4 million members across 84 countries. Together the Mother’s Union works to support families and to protect children.

Churches Together (ecumenical work)

The Christian Church is a fellowship of many churches, which exist in different countries and in different communities, and which are governed by different laws and customs. This variety should be considered not as a disadvantage but as a source of great riches on account of which the Church is strengthened and multiplied.

Inter Faith Network (inter-religious affairs)

As a diocese, we work to build relationships among Christians and people of other faiths, encouraging all to learn more about the teaching and practice of other religions.

Sudan Link

The Salisbury – Sudan partnership has celebrated half a century of friendship and commitment in 2022.
