Lord Jesus,

We pray today for the community of West Parley, for clergy Charles Booth, Sheila Thomas, Christopher Rutledge.

We pray that your grace will bless their work with local communities in Wimborne Deanery, strengthening existing links and developing new ones,  that our fellowship in Christ may be good news to those who feel isolated and lonely.

We hold in our prayers the Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: and we  pray for the Rt Revd Bismark Monday Avokaya, Bishop of Mundri in South Sudan.

We raise to you Wimborne Minster and Wimborne Villages, the clergy Andrew Rowland, Suzie Allen, Heather Waldsax, Nick Wells, Bill French, Elise & Michael Harding and the Licenced Lay Ministers and Lay Pastoral Assistants.

We pray for the benefice, as they seek to minister to new communities in the Wimborne area, and in Kingston Lacy & Shapwick.

We pray also for vision, wisdom and strength for leadership as Rev Andrew takes sabbatical and the remaining team lead in his absence.

We thank you and ask for your blessings on staff and students at Witchampton First School

Father God

Today we thank you for Poole & North Bournemouth Deanery Rural Dean: Lucy Holt. We pray for Lucy not only in this role but also in her role of acting Archdeacon of Dorset. We ask for your blessings on Assistant Rural Dean David Price and Lay Chair: John Rollestone.

At the Deanery synod in June they spoke together about vocation. We pray for God to continue to raise up lay people within the Deanery to explore their gifting in and outside the Church. We give thanks for the ministry locally of Chaplains in education, health and the military. We pray they continually flourish in all they do.
