Reading this week's prayers is Jonathan Triffitt. Jonathan is Director of Mission and Ministry and Deputy Diocesan Secretary at the Diocesan Board of Finance. He is also a big Bradford city fan!
Reading this week's prayers is David Reed. David says "No-one is more surprised than me to have got ordained this year. I became a Christian by accident shortly after getting married and since then Jesus has blown up my entire life. I spent the early part of my career in London working as a charity CEO, and decided to apply some of those skills to my local church in Hamworthy, which is where a call to ministry slowly developed. The formation journey since then has been amazing, and I am so excited to now be serving in the beautiful parish of Corfe Mullen, which has given us the most extraordinary welcome as a family."
Reading this week's prayers is Marianne Mangham. "I'm Marianne and have just completed three years at Sarum College whilst working full time. I am now the newly ordained Assistant Curate of Wimborne Minster, The Wimborne Villages, Shapwick and Kingston Lacy. It has been so exciting over the last week to see where God is at work in my new parishes and I am looking forwards to joining in and making Jesus known in the time ahead.''
Reading the Prayer Diary this week is Ruth Peers! "I'm Ruth Peers, and have just completed three years at Sarum College while working part-time as a community worker at St Francis Church, Littlemoor, Weymouth. As a family, we have just moved to Poole where I will become curate for the parish of Hamworthy."
Reading this week's prayers is Lydia Reese. "Hello, I’m Lydia! Originally from the mountains of East Tennessee, I find myself in Dorset by way of the Hilfield Friary community, where I realised God was calling me to ordained ministry. I also met my husband, Jimmy, at Hilfield, and we now live in Dorchester where he is vicar of St. Mary the Virgin. As a lover of the natural world I am very much looking forward to serving my curacy in the beautiful benefice of West Purbeck and joining in with what God is doing there."
Reading this week's prayers is David Sinclair. David has been serving as part of the leadership team in Hazelbury Bryan and the Hillside Parishes Benefice and will be serving curacy in Iwerne Valley Benefice.
Reading this week's prayers is Matthew Haynes. Matthew is being ordained in Salisbury Cathedral on 30 June. He has very much enjoyed studying part time at Sarum College for the last three years. He lives in Ramsbury with his wife and has a son and two daughters. He is going to be serving his curacy part time in the Vale of Pewsey Benefice as a self-supporting minister. Matthew also volunteers as a chaplain at Salisbury District Hospital.
Reading this week's prayers is Natalie Davies. "My name is Natalie and I am married to Joseph. We will shortly be moving from Cambridge to Swanage where I will be the Assistant Curate in the benefice of Swanage and Studland. Joseph and I met whilst we were working at Salisbury Cathedral which is also where I started to discern a call to ordination. We are thrilled to be returning to the Diocese for this next chapter following God’s call."
Reading this week's prayers is Craig Bain. 'I'm Craig, a final year ordinand. I'm married to Hannah, have 2 children and 2 foster children. We're very excited to be joining Christ Church Warminster where I will serve my curacy, joining with the congregation in making Jesus known.'
