16 Dorset churches receive transformative grants

12 Dorset churches have been given grants for essential repairs and improvements by Dorset Historic Churches Trust (DHCT). Four churches have been awarded grants from the National Churches Trust to support repairs and upgrades to enable them to continue ministry, as part of an over £800,000 grant.

A dedication to inclusion: Dolphin IV launched for the community

Dolphin IV, a specially designed boat that will offer free boat trips around Poole Harbour for people with disabilities, has been dedicated by Revd Canon Lucy Holt, Assistant Archdeacon for Dorset and Sherborne and rector at St James’ Church, Poole.

Newly appointed Racial Justice Officer, Revd Katharine Robinson

Reverend Katharine Robinson has been appointed as the Racial Justice Officer for the Diocese of Salisbury. Katharine may already be known to you through her previous role in the Diocesan Governance Team, which she has held since 2022.
