College of Evangelists joined mission weekend with Archbishop of Canterbury

A small team from the College of Evangelists have partaken in events across the diocese to share their own stories of faith and transformation.

Lucy Moore, Head of the Church of England's Growing Faith Foundation, explored Children's and Young Minsitry with those at Marnhull and Shaftsbury, actively encouraging them in what steps to grow fruitfully in their local parishes and schools.

Tom Price, a lecturer at OCCA The Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics by trade, joined the team at Vale of Pewsey Churches to discuss themes of sharing and growing faith.

Chris Andrew, Founding Director of Project Touchline, visited Cranfield CE Academy and hosted a 'fantastic whole school worship focusing on wisdom along with the first ever meeting of our lunch time prayer club'.

Chloe Sheppard, a Church Army trainee, helped at St Michael's School, Larkhill, as part of their community fun day, in which they gathered members of the Star Club, part of the community hub's at the Diocese.

Rachel Dickinson, Teaching and training lead at Barnfield Collegevisited Motcombe Fete with Helen Williams, Team Vicar of the Shaftesbury Team, to spark conversations with the local community there.

Ben HuddNext Generation Program Leader at Flame International, visited Blanford Forum to pray for mission, talks on Share Story, Share Jesus, Love in the Neighbourhood, Going out to love and serve the world and the good news of God's love.

Archbishop Justin zoomed and met with evangelists across the weekend to encourage them.

As a diocese, we are extremely greatful to the College for the engaging conversations over the course of the weekend and hope the relationships formed will continue in fruition.
