Harvest Festival Celebrations

We have loved seeing all your Harvest Festival posts this past weekend, please continue tagging us in social media posts and stories. Harvest Festival's started in 1843 and have continued to be a time of joy, celebration and giving within churches, schools and local communities.

Spetisbury, Charlton Marshall and Blandford St.Mary Churches: "A massive thank you to the children of Blandford St Mary Primary School who led our singing and prayers so well at our harvest festival celebration this afternoon in the parish church. You were a Joy!"

 

Westbury community notice board, All saints church, Westbury: "Thank you to the 1st Westbury Scouts, Cubs, Beavers, Brownies and Rainbows and St John Ambulance Cadets for joining us this morning to celebrate Harvest Festival. Their generous gifts will be heading off to Westbury Area Network Food Bank"

 

St Mary's Church, Motcombe: "What a lovely evening. 52 harvest suppers coooked and served amongst this year's beautiful flower displays."

 

Three Valley's benefice: "Beginning the season of Harvest Festival Services in the Three Valleys Benefice with Bishops Caundle, Folke, Hermitage, Leigh. Harvest carried and gifted. Giving thanks for farmers, All Saints children, teachers, teams, communities."
