This coming weekend, we will celebrate and pray as 19 people are being ordained as deacons and priests in special services at Salisbury Cathedral. We thank God for their dedication as they go out to serve across the diocese.
Deacons usually serve for a year before being ordained as priests, though some may feel called to remain as a deacon. New priests continue to serve out their curacy in the parish or team in which they were first ordained deacon.
You can watch the services livestreamed from the Cathedral here.
