Reading our prayers this week is Mandy Christopher. Mandy was appointed to the DBE as Assistant Director of Education in 2014 and has 19 years worth of experience in nursery and primary education. She is currently seconded to the DBF as Head of Growing Faith, working to develop relationships between Church, school and community.

Today we thank you for The Archdeacon of Sarum The Ven Alan Jeans. On this Easter Bank Holiday Monday – we give thanks for the Resurrection Promises and the Life we have, God let us all share the joy of the new Life you offer all people.

We pray for Salisbury Deanery and its Rural Dean Kelvin Inglis.
We give thanks for the rich diversity of Christian witness and the warm relations between the city’s churches. We pray for a renewed sense of mission and for leadership in deanery synod and churches together.

Thank you for Bemerton and its clergy: Kevin Martin, Kim Stephens and Karen Hutchinson.
We pray for the community cafe and centre on Bemerton Heath and those whom we connect with through our ministry there. We give thanks for increased opportunities for prayer and mission in the parish as we continue to be welcomed where people naturally gather.
As we follow Jesus' example of being alongside those who have felt judged and rejected, we pray we will enable more people to hear of God's love for all people.
