11 September

Lord Jesus, 

Today we pray for Salisbury Deanery and the Rural Dean: Kelvin Inglis. We pray you guide and bless him in his daily life and work. 

We give thanks for: 

  • The rich diversity of Christians and for the warm relations between the city’s churches. 

  • For the NHS in Salisbury, the charity and care sectors, and all volunteers and carers. 

We pray for a renewed sense of mission and for leadership in deanery synod and churches together.

12 September

Today in our prayers Lord we raise to you, Bemerton, and its  Clergy: Kevin Martin For Licenced Lay Minister : Gillian Newton, Maureen Winstanley. We pray you continue to fuel them with your love and grace. 

We pray for the staff and students at:

Lord of love, 

Thank you for Fisherton Anger, and for its Clergy: Craig Ryalls. 

Our prayers go to you Lord for the Hope Community Centre as a new re-envisioning process begins. We pray needs of the local Salisbury community are met and exceeded in your name. 

We pray for Salisbury CAP (Christians Against Poverty) Debt Centre and the work of Charlotte and her team. 

Thank you lord for Reuben Shekwo, the Youth Pastor and for the children and young people in this deanery as they partake in a weekend away in October.We raise to you chil;dren’s pastor Debbie May, and give thanks for her team. 

We hold before you the staff and students at Sarum St Paul's CE VA Primary School. 

In prayers for episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Rt Revd Martin Abuni, Bishop of Nimule in South Sudan.

On today, Holy Cross Day  

We thank you God for Harnham St George and All Saints, for Clergy: Becky Roberts, Julian Poppleton, Mike Badger. We pray for Licenced Lay Ministers: Katy Carter, Matthew Stone. 

We pray for Messy Church as it restarts after the summer, for the continued development of schools work, guidance for the PCC as the Making Jesus Known vision develops further,and for its  Creationtide Eco church projects, and missional Harvest Services. 

We raise before you in prayer the staff and students at Harnham CE VC Junior School

15 September

Dear God, 

In our prayers today we pray for our Cathedral Dean: The Very Revd Nick Papadopulos. 

At the start of a new school and choir year we ask your prayers for the Cathedral’s ministry among young people: for choristers, servers, and the families who attend all-age Sunday worship. 

We pray too for the forthcoming appointment of a Missioner for Young People, and for God’s blessing on this vital work.

Heavenly Father, 

Today we pray for Salisbury St Francis and St Lawrence Stratford sub Castle, for Clergy: Jean de Garis, Mary Terry, Joe Stone, David Stokes. We pray too for Operations Manager: Jane Franchi. Children and Families Pastor: Katie Ollivierre. Youth Pastor: Sophie Stokes and Ordinand: Sophie Ferguson. 

We ask for your provision of leadership in the days ahead – especially for St Lawrence and Hope Church. Thank you for the breadth of worship in such varied places as we encounter you in different ways. 

May your Spirit rest on every time of praise, every space for prayer, every opening of your word, each sharing of faith in the Stratford Sub Castle community, and every act of random kindness done in the name of Jesus. 

We thank you and ask you to bless the staff and students at Stratford-sub-Castle CE VC Primary School

On today the Fifteenth Sunday after Trinity 

We pray for Salisbury St Martin, and Clergy: David Fisher. 

May the Holy Spirit guide the church in prayers and discussions, that what is planned and decided may make Jesus known in every place.
