O Lord, 

Thank you for Purbeck Deanery and its Rural Dean: Richard Bartlett. We pray your blessing upon the four benefices in Purbeck Deanery, as we support one another in mission and ministry.  We pray for our Deanery Synod meeting next month as we meet to discuss ‘Making Jesus known’, and for the appointment of a new Deanery Lay Chair.

13 February

Lord today in our prayers we raise to you Swanage and Studland, Purbeck Deanery and its Clergy: Ian Bird, Jo Levasier, Tony Higgins, Dave Richards. We pray for continuing development of relationships with Swanage schools. For the Team Lent Course that it will help develop stronger unity.  We give thanks for the continuing ministry of the wonderful retired clergy who serve in many different ways. We pray your blessing on Swanage St Mark's CE VA Primary School

On today, Ash Wednesday   We thank you for Wareham, Purbeck Deanery and its Clergy: Simon Everett, Neil Kelly, Deborah Swann, Hilary Bond, Michael Young. Parish Administrator: Debs Barclay. Church Wardens: Mike Quinlan, Hilary Goodinge. We pray for Deborah Swann and Neil Kelly, recently licensed as Team Vicars to the parish of Wareham, that they will settle well and know God’s blessing on their ministry as they discern how best to make their job-share effective and fruitful.  Especial prayers for Deborah as she also ministers as part-time chaplain to St Ann’s hospital, Poole. Thank you for the staff and students who attend  Wareham St Mary CE VC Primary School Sandford St Martin's CE VA Primary School Stoborough CE VA Primary School In our prayers for the Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Abdu Elnur Kodi, Bishop of Port Sudan in Sudan.

Almighty God,

 Today we pray for St Aldhelm, Purbeck Deanery and its clergy Nick Webb. House for Duty Associate Pioneer Priest: The Revd Lindy Cameron (to begin in April).    We pray for the St Aldhelm Benefice in this time of vacancy for the post of Rector, and for good new beginnings for our House for Duty Pioneer Priest, Lindy, who will join us in April. Lord, be with all those who apply to the Rector role. Be with our benefice through this period of vacancy and new beginnings, and may your Holy Spirit guide all those involved in the selection process.  We thank you for: Corfe Castle CE VC Primary Academy Langton Matravers St George's CE VA Primary School

Father God, 

We pray your blessing today on Milton and Blandford Deanery and its Rural Dean: David Miell. Assitant Rural Dean: Carolyn Couzens. Lay Chair: Lizzie Patterson. We give thanks for the new potential projects in partnership with Bishop Emmanuel and the Diocese of Rokon, South Sudan.  We pray for us as Milton and Bradford review the Deanery Plan in the light of ongoing pastoral reorganisation and the Diocesan Vision & Priorities.

Creator God, on today,  First Sunday of Lent We thank you for Blandford Forum and Langton Long, Milton and Blandford Deanery and its Clergy: Chris Beaumont, Will Burditt. Licensed Lay Minister: Debby Griffiths. We Pray for mission and ministry activities amongst Children and Families (inc School’s Work), Youth and Seniors and the continued growth of our year old 11am Contemporary Congregation. For the successful recruitment of a Children and Families Minister.
