21 August 

Lord in our prayers today we raise to you 

Branksome St Clement, and Clergy: Lerys Campbell, Lynn Bowerman. And Licenced Lay Minister : John Fisher. 

We pray for Lerys and his family as they settle into life in Poole, and prepare for new school places in September; for the parish as it adapts to new service patterns and styles and for the 2 couples being married over the bank holiday weekend.

22 August 

Father God, 

We pray for Broadstone, and clergy: Helen Bailey, Patrick Hastings, Paul Renyard. We pray for the new build in Broadstone, both for its financing and for its completion. We raise to you Lord, the community support groups Broadstone offer a free home to, and the church’s ministry and mission. Give thanks and pray for our Muddy Churchers in the family eco spirituality work. Also  we thank you and pray for those who joined  the church this year!

God, 

Thank you for Canford Cliffs and Sandbanks, and for Clergy: Andrew O’Brien, Pam Wise. 

We pray particularly for their ministry to holiday makers during the summer season. We give thanks for links to the residents of St Anne’s and interaction with them. 

In our prayers for the Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Rt Revd Andudu Adam Elnail, Bishop of Kadugli and Nuba Mountains in Sudan.

Creator, 

As we celebrate the feast of Bartholomew the Apostle 

We pray for Ensbury Park, for Clergy: Simon  Evans, David Wheeler, Margaret Wheeler. And Licenced Worship Leader: Ed Foster. 

We pray for the work done with young families, also the outreach to the lonely and isolated. We pray also for Simon in his ministry as lead chaplain to Dorset Police. We pray he carries your peace with him in all he does.

Lord Jesus, 

Thank for you God for Hamworthy and for the  Clergy there: Tessa Nisbet, Ashley Ross, Sally Taylor, Reg Baldock. We pray for  Licenced Lay Ministers: Jenny Baldock, Viv Robertson. 

We pray too for the Outdoor Services through the summer as well as the Holiday Club this week. We pray for all those who have done the Alpha Course and those who have chosen to follow that up by doing the Bible Course. We ask that they may continue to be filled with your love and holy spirit.

Holy God, 

Today we raise before you, Heatherlands St John, and Rev: David Price. 

We thank you God for: 

• St John's returning to its pre-covid life and size; 

• eight people from St John's getting confirmed this year, four in May and four in October; 

• and for your continued provision during a challenging time. 

We pray for: 

• reconfiguring Junior Church at St John's to accommodate increasing numbers of children; 

• the appointment of a new Associate Minister at the Church of the Good Shepherd; 

• finalising funding and getting work started on rebuilding the Church of the Good Shepherd. 

We pray for your continued blessing upon the whole people of Dorset

Generous God on today, the Twelfth Sunday after Trinity we pray for Lilliput, and for Clergy: Louise Ellis, Kate Eaton-Wells, Aidan Smith. 

We pray for Revd Kate Eaton-Wells, newly ordained priest, as she continues her curacy serving in Lilliput. We ask for prayers for continued work in the local community including Community Lunch, Cameo, Lilliput School and Lilliput House Care home. 

We pray you that you will guide and bless the staff and students at Poole Lilliput CE VC Infant School. 

In our Anglican Cycle of Prayer today God, we pray for the church in Hong Kong, Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui
