Reading our prayers this week is Caroline Spindlow. Caroline is the Ministry Resources Officer at the DBF, supporting curates and their training incumbents across the diocese and shortly to be licensed at St John’s with St Mary’s, Devizes as Associate Priest there.

25 March

Our God, 

Thank you for Talbot Village, Poole and North Bournemouth Deanery and its Clergy: Nick Wells, Jonathan Burke, Paul Collins and Diana Newman. We pray for St Marks, Talbot village and St Saviours, Wallisdown as a new pattern of prayer and worship is established, to inject the mission of God in the local community. We also pray for our growing links with local schools, including St Marks and the Universities. 

We pray for the pupils, parents and staff of Talbot Village St Mark's CE VA Primary School

26 March

Heavenly God, 

We pray for Lytchetts and Upton, Poole and North Bournemouth Deanery and its Clergy: Matt Simpson, Stephen Partridge and Michelle Cobley. We thank you for the faithfulness of Licensed Lay Ministers: Dave Parker and Mark Rathbone. We pray for all the Holy Week services taking place across the benefice as well as across our diocese, that they may make Jesus Known more widely.

Creator God, 

We thank you for Poole Missional Communities, Poole and North Bournemouth Deanery and its Clergy: Paul Bradbury, Lucy Bolster, Sally Taylor and John Good.  We pray for the many projects and varied work of all the team, the local pioneering work, community meals and garden, Ocean church, work with the Poverty Truth Commission and the local council. 

In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: Please pray for the Rt Revd Jacob Deng Garang Akech, Bishop of Twic East in South Sudan.

Lord God, 

We pray your blessing upon Canford Heath, Poole and North Bournemouth Deanery and its Clergy: Matt Williams, Peter Homden and Paul Renyard. 

On today, Maundy Thursday we reflect upon the Last Supper. Jesus said, “If you love me, keep my commands,” and “Love each other as I have loved you.” (John 14:15, 15:12). We pray that we and all God’s faithful people will follow Jesus’ commands, including the command to love one another sacrificially as he has loved us.

Almighty and Everlasting God, 

Thank you for Oakdale St George,and clergy Penny Draper, Tom Lock John Graves and Pam Clark. LWe pray for Licensed Lay Minister and Lay Worship Leader: Sue Bursey. We pray for the Baby & Toddler Group, Messy Church, and Cafe Church. 

Thank you for the pupils staff and parents at Poole St Edwards RC-CE VA School. On today, Good Friday, we reflect on the cross and see the cost of our sin and depths of our Lord’s love for us. In humble hope and fear we place at his feet all that we have and all that we are.

On today, Holy Saturday 

We pray your blessing upon Poole Hospital and the University Hospitals Dorset, and Forest Holme Hospice Chaplain: James Taylor. 

On this Holy Saturday we pray in quiet for the Chaplaincy at University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust. We pray for courage and resilience for the Lead Chaplain James Taylor and the ecumenical and interfaith team. Help them to come alongside all those who are trapped in darkness, with the courage and assurance of the Resurrected Christ.

Our God, 

Thank you for the students at Bournemouth University/arts university and Senior Chaplain: Ruth Wells. We pray for the work of the multifaith Faith and Reflection team (chaplaincy) as we seek to offer support to staff and students of all faiths and none.  We thank you for the university's beautiful diversity of life and we pray for wisdom, compassion and energy! 

On today, Easter Sunday join us as we pray "God we thank You for Your sacrifice on the cross and You for Your resurrection from the tomb, and God, we pray all will know the truth of your word and spirit, now and forever. Amen.” In our Anglican Cycle of Prayer: We pray for The Church in the Province of the West Indies
