7 August

Caring God, 

We pray for Alderholt, for clergy : Simon Woodley, David Dennis and Children and Families Worker: Zoe Martin. 

We ask you to bless the PCC, as it adjusts to working without a treasurer, and their efforts to raise money for the church roof. As they seek to develop the ministry of every member of the church, may you encourage and bless their work. 

We thank you for the staff and students at Alderholt St James' CE VC First School.

Lord of life, 

Thank you Father for Canford Magna, fpr  Clergy: Mike Tufnell, Peter Myres, Pat Nesbitt and Matt Smith. We raise to you Matt Smith, the new Team Vicar at Canford Parish as he settles into his new post and Peter Myres at St Barnabas, Bearwood as he beds in  the new Life Group structures. We pray for Mike Tufnell, Team Rector, on sabbatical and for other changes in the Lantern team as Karen Franklin leaves and they seek a new youth pastor.

Holy God, 

We pray today for Colehill, and Wimborne Deanery Clergy: Suzanne Pattle. Thank you for the staff and students Colehill St Michael's CE Middle School. In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Rt Revd Seme Nigo Abinda, Bishop of Panyana in South Sudan.

Creator of all things, 

Thank you Father for the community of Corfe Mullen and their ministry. We pray for Jane Burgess, Charles Burgess and.Licenced Lay Minister: Paul Eaton. We pray that the seeds sown from the holiday club at the start of the summer holiday will take root and bear fruit in the lives of the children who came and that families may be encouraged to return for Family Services and Wild Church. We pray for the new Licenced Lay Ministers to be licensed in September Rachel Stevens and Carol Bendenelli.

God of all, 

We pray to you today for Knowlton Circle, for the clergy there Robert Simpson, John Williams and licensed lay minister: Jan Brown. Simon Tong. We are thankful for new churchwardens in Woodlands and Edmondsham and for encouragements in both those parishes with the response from the community to new outreach services. We pray for the Benefice as they seek to build on a planning morning held in April focusing on vision for growth. We pray for their work bringing more people to know you.

God of love, 

In our prayers we raise to you  Hampreston and Ferndown, its clergy Patches Chabala and Oli Fricker.We pray for Licenced Lay Minister David Scouse. 

With great joy, and thankfulness for the Lord's provision, we pray for the  successful appointment of the Revd Dominic Meering as the next Team Rector. We pray for Dom’s institution, induction and installation as Team Rector by the Bishop of Salisbury  in September. 

We raise to you in prayer all children, staff and families of  Hampreston CE VA First School.

Generous God, 

On today, the Tenth Sunday after Trinity we pray for New Borough and Leigh St John (or Wimborne St John), for clergy: Peter Breckwoldt and Matt Lee. For Licenced Lay Minister Alan Fryer. Licenced Lay Minister  Jo Field and Licenced Lay Minister Emeritus: Brian Richmond. 

We pray for God's blessing on the children and families who participated in the holiday club in July. We pray also for the launch of new term of activities at the start of September to welcome new people into the church family. We ask for your blessing Lord on the children, staff and families of 

St John's CE VC First School, and in our Anglican Cycle of Prayer we pray for Iglesia Anglicana de Chile
