Lord God, 

Thank you for St Bartholomew, Chalke Deanery and its Clergy: Kate McFarlane, Mary Ridgewell, June Lane.

We pray for licensed lay ministers :Anthony Thomas, Jo Johnson. As we celebrate Harvest around the Benefice we pray for those parishes seeking to achieve Eco Church awards and that we might offer a better witness in our care for all God's creation. 

We hold in prayer the children, staff and parents at Semley CE VA Primary School.

10 October

Eternal Father, 

We pray for Western Downland, Chalke Deanery and Clergy: Les Player. 

We pray for the four parishes of Damerham, Martin, Rockbourne and Whitsbury and for Revd Les Player as he returns from Study Leave.

We pray for Western Downland School and the headteacher Alice Tubbs, as an Ofsted inspection is expected soon. 

We pray for the staff and students of: Western Downland CE VA Primary School Sarum Academy

God, 

Today in our prayers we raise to you, Heytesbury Deanery’s Rural Dean: Caroline Husband. Assistant Rural Dean: Lorraine Dobbins and Lay Chair: Robert Shuler. 

We pray for the parishes with longstanding vacancies, and for the parishes that are facing changes.

We pray for Deanery Synod members who are working together to find ways for parishes to support each other through sharing expertise, wisdom and helping hands.

In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Most Revd Moses Deng Bol, Archbishop & Diocesan Bishop of Wau in South Sudan.

Loving God, 

We pray today for the Cley Hill Villages, Heytesbury Clergy: Pauline Reid. We pray for Licensed Lay Minister: Robert Shuler and retired Licensed lay minister John Budgen.

We pray for the benefice in this time of change and transition. Especially we pray for Robert Shuler and for churchwardens and PCC. Give them wisdom and courage as they plan for the future and seek to serve you with faithfulness and hope.

Lord Jesus,

We pray for Mere with West Knoyle & Maiden Bradley, Heytesbury and for Licensed Lay Ministers Christine Marsh. 

We continue to pray for Mere and West Knoyle as they seek to listen to God, to each other and to the community, and we give thanks for the renewed ministries taking place reaching families across the area

Almighty God,

We pray for your blessing upon Upper Stour, Heytesbury Deanery and its clergy Mike MacCormack. And Licensed Lay Minister : Mona Tyler.

We ask for the guidance of the Holy Spirit as the parishes of Upper Stour and Maiden Bradley seek a full-time priest. We ask  that you will help all of us to grow in faith, love one another, care for those in need, reach out to others, and welcome newcomers.

Keep us serving and trusting as we wait for your purpose to work out, however long this might take; in the name of Jesus we pray.

On today, the Nineteenth Sunday after Trinity We pray for Upper Wylye Valley Team, Heytesbury for Clergy: Cliff Stride, Jonathan Hiscox and for Licensed Lay Minister: Katherine Venning. 

We continue to pray for the team during a protracted vacancy, and especially for those keeping the benefice going. We pray for the 8 Parishes of the Benefice that they may have a vision of how God desires their Benefice to evolve to support a new rector and work to make Christ known in their villages.
