19 February

Lord God, 

We thank you for the people of Chase, Milton and Blandford Deanery and its Clergy: David Miell, Henriet Miell and licensed Lay Ministers: Pat Harris and Carol Neilson. We give thanks for the supportive relationships that have sustained the parishes of this benefice over many years.  We pray for discernment as a 3-year period of transition in pastoral reorganisation draws towards its closing stages and  pray that new partnerships in mission and ministry bear fruit.

Loving God 

We pray your blessing upon Iwerne Valley, Milton and Blandford Deanery and its Clergy: David John. We ask your blessing on the new benefice prayer initiative, that all may 'Make Jesus known' We pray for the staff and students of Fontmell Magna  St Andrew's CE VA Primary School

21 February

Our Lord and our God, 

We pray today for the people of Pimperne, Stourpaine, Durweston and Bryanston, and their Clergy: David Miell, Henriet Miell and Licensed Lay Ministers: Martin Richley, Penny Wallis. We give thanks for continued ministry in primary schools, in Pimperne and Durweston, and for the dedication of Foundation Governors.  We pray for the trainees on the Lay Pastoral Assistants course, and for discernment in the appointment of a new Priest in Charge and the formation of a new benefice with neighbouring parishes. In our prayers for Episcopal Churches in South Sudan and Sudan: we pray for the Rt Revd Isaac Ephraim, Bishop of Ezo in South Sudan.

Creator God, 

We pray you bless the people of Red Post, in Milton and Blandford Deanery and Clergy: Jane Williams, Caroline Chichester, Nigel Feaver. We pray for the Red Post Benefice, for all who minister across our churches and schools as we explore together what it means to 'Make Jesus Known' across our communities in 2024.

Lord Jesus, 

We pray for the people of Sixpenny Handley with Gussage St Andrew & Pentridge, and their Clergy: David Miell, Henriet Miell. We give thanks for the continued ministry of the weekly café in church. We pray for the post of part-time Priest in Charge of the Benefice and for discernment in the formation of a new benefice with neighbouring parishes.

Abba Father, 

We pray today for Spetisbury with Charlton Marshall and Blandford St Mary, and their Clergy: Carolyn Couzens, Steve Atkins, John Goodall. We ask for your blessing on the ministry of Licensed Lay Ministers: Jane Griffin, Tony Parker, Osbert Tun Pe. We pray for all the parishes as we work together, for a deepening of faith through Lent and a blessing on the communities we are in. We pray you bless staff pupils and families of: Spetisbury Hall & Sloper's CE VA Primary School and Blandford St Mary CE VA Primary School

On today, Second Sunday of Lent 

We pray for the people of Winterborne Valley and Milton Abbas, and their Clergy: Lewis Pearson, Jimmy Hamilton-Brown and Licensed Lay Minister: Peter Wells. We pray that we may see how God is at work across the six rural communities. We also pray for engagement with children and families including links with Dunbury School and Milton Abbey School. In our Anglican Cycle of Prayer: we pray for The Anglican Church of Tanzania
