The King in a stable, the world in reverse, join in as we reveal a verse. Each day leading up to Christmas, we will be playing a carol from our parishes, schools and clergy in reverse and asking you to guess the name of the carol.

Rise in number of people embarking on a journey of Christian faith

39 people were confirmed at Salisbury Cathedral last weekend by the Bishop of Salisbury, Rt Revd Stephen Lake, assisted by the Bishop of Ramsbury. Rt Revd Andrew Rumsey. 2025 has already seen 5% more people being confirmed across the Diocese of Salisbury than during the whole of 2024.

What started as a simple gesture to discover the first names of servicemen from WWI and WWII who did not return to their village transformed into a 16-year labour of love for one woman from Dorset.
