Morning Star (Salisbury) is a pioneering and collaborative local Christian Charity which seeks to support those who may be homeless, at risk of homelessness, in recovery, or in need due to
physical or mental ill health or poverty. Our work is rooted in our faith, hope and love for those we support. An exciting opportunity is available to join our small team. This paid part-time role is initially for one year, but it is hoped to extend this with further funding. The opportunity exists for the right candidate, as part of the team, to develop the Charity further. If you have a lively Christian faith and some knowledge and or experience of support working with those who often have complicated lives, then this may be an opportunity for you to really make a difference.
The role would include:
- Pastoral support
- Participating in the day-to-day life at the centre
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all who attend
- Participate in the life of the charity
