Community Lead, Parish of Corfe Mullen

The Parish of Corfe Mullen are looking for a missional leader with a pioneer heart, passionate about making Jesus known in the community.

A leader who is skilled in raising up and equipping lay leaders and teams, and in working with other willing partners and churches, to build upon the already growing outreach ministries of the church, seeking to make Jesus known in our communities. 

A leader with drive and resilience, undaunted by the genuine missional challenge of leading a pioneering work to establish new opportunities and ministries within the large and thriving community of Corfe Mullen and the wider area. The vision is to reach out to all ages but particularly to enable younger people and families, to explore and engage with the Christian faith. 

You will be based at St Nicholas Church which together with St Hubert’s is part of a two-church parish with an overarching vision to grow closer to God, to each other and to our community.

The Diocese of Salisbury has recently launched Mission Hubs and Corfe Mullen are part of this, with a primary aim to accelerate what is currently happening and to work with others willing churches in the wider community in enabling mission beyond Corfe Mullen. The post will be funded for three years from a grant from the national church's Strategic Mission and Ministry Board to the Diocese of Salisbury.

Salary: £30,000 per annum
